Yoga is an ancient self help system, approximately 5,000 years old.

Sharon Jennings (founder of Your Yoga) mentions that “Initially Yoga was only taught to men. In more recent times it has been seen as something that is exclusively for women.

Whilst it is true to say that more women have noticed the benefits of Yoga, it is beneficial to all. We have many men joining our programmes, from suited business executives to firemen, all of whom experience benefit.”

Sharon is keen to emphasise that it is not a replacement for any existing exercise or diet programme and you can use Your Yoga to support the activities you enjoy.
